Bio

Juan Pawiroredjo was born in Suriname, South America. After finishing High school he moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to attend The Artemis Academy where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Interior, Fashion and Media and graduated Cumlaude. While working towards his bachelor’s degree he traveled to many cities in Europe including, Milan, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Antwerp and many more while working for several Design Companies throughout Europe. After graduating Juan moved to Washington D.C. where he started working for the Inter-American Development Bank in the office of external relations. While at the IDB he wrote for Chasqui Magazine, a magazine by the IDB and worked on projects for IDBtv. In 2007 he got offered a Job at Stylink.nl, a Dutch Design E-Magazine as a correspondent. He moved to New York in order to cover the Trends, Theatre, Fashion and Interior Design developments that were taking place in the city. In 2009 Juan decided to move back to Washington D.C. to get a masters degree in the Art of Journalism at American University.
